Scholarship from the Generalitat of Catalonia to study post-grade as "guest Student" at the prestigious University of Arts, Dance Studio Folkwang, Essen, Germany. Artistic Director Pina Bausch.

Atends advanced courses of contemporary dance in the School "The Place", London.

Trained in classical ballet, contemporary dance and theater has been a student of large national and international masters such as Carolyn Carlson, Avelina Argüelles, Ramón Oller, Gilberto Ruiz Lang, Alberto Corvino (Julliars's School), Malou Airaudo, Lutz Förster, (Tanztheater Wuppertal), Eugenio Vargas, among others.

1990

Presents his first professional choreography in the Festival "Espectacle Marathon" in the Mercat de les Flors, Barcelona, ​​obtaining excellent reviews in the newspaper La Vanguardia.

1994

Co-founder of the company Hojarasca Danza-Teatro in Burgos, Community of Castile and Leon, Spain. In 2000 assumes the artistic and choreographic direction of the current company Alicia Soto-Hojarasca.

Alicia Soto has since created more than 25 shows, 2 video creations mid-dance and a dance video.
Critics point out that their creation is original and open about an encounter between dance and theater, based on the drama, often using multimedia and new technologies in a continuous search of the language of dance creations based on transdisciplinarity.
